Join Markus Lassfolk and Mikael Nyström, Microsoft MVPs and highly experienced datacenter builders, in this full week of intensive hands-on training based on all real-world experience. You will learn how to build the next generation datacenter using a private cloud based on Microsoft components and design. The hands-on labs are based on their experiences as professional IT consultants, but also through cooperation with Microsoft during an early stage of the development of the platform. You will learn how to configure and use Microsoft System Center and Hyper-V with software-defined networking and software-defined storage, including hardware choices and scaling. There is no other training that provides the amount of knowledge and information you will receive during these intensive sessions. And, by the way, when we say “experienced datacenter builders,” we mean that Markus and Mikael build at least one datacenter every month and sometimes more.

Exclusive: Meet Mikael & Markus

Meet the coaches on Sunday (the evening before the official start of the event) to discuss the agenda for the upcoming week, that you are well prepared for the five-day intensive training session starting the next day. An exciting week is ahead of you! Read more

GeekWeek Setup

All of us, participants and instructors, stay at the same hotel Dorint, which is located not in the same building as the training facility. This is our fortress where all of us will eat, sleep, laugh, practice, have fun and test new technology.

We meet on Sunday evening

To go through the week's agenda so that you are all set for five days of intensive hands-on labs. Be sure to get a good night's sleep!

On Monday

We have breakfast together at the hotel restaurant and then walk to the class rooms to launch the course. When the first day comes to an end, we head back to the hotel to discuss specific challenges or solutions.

To get "bangs for the bucks", we have arranged for five full days of hands-on labs, fierce evening seminars plenty of time to spend with other IT Pro's among other activities.

By the end of the week

We have a graduation dinner on thursday, and on friday you are walking home with a diploma in your hand, along with many new experiences and important knowledge!

Full schedule will be published soon. Stay tuned!

The price includes the costs for the hotel inclusive breakfast and lunch.

Qualification

You should have previous experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, infrastructure, virtualization, and Microsoft-based server environments.

Goal

After this GeekWeek, you will have the knowledge and understanding to build, use, and administrate a private cloud or datacenter based on Microsoft technology.
