Wilhelm Doupnik has been the chairman of the managing board of Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH since 2013.
Born in Austria in 1966, W. Doupnik studied Commercial Science at the University of Economics from 1986 to 1992. Already before he graduated with a Master’s degree (Mag.), he began his career in 1990 as a portfolio manager and securities analyst at Schoeller Bank AG. In 1994, he switched to IBM Österreich, where he worked in the field of solution sales and business development in the financial service industry. Three years later, he was appointed to the business development manager for the banking, insurance, trade and public sector at Cap Gemini Österreich. Between 1998 and 2002, W. Doupnik worked in various positions at Ernst & Young Consulting Österreich (since 2000 Cap Gemini Ernst & Young Consulting) and became vice president for the business area banking and capital markets in 2001. He attained his first employment as a managing director in 2003 at Mummert Consulting Österreich (since 2005 Steria Mummert Consulting). Additionally, he became a member of the banking board at Mummert Consulting DE/AUT/CH in 2004. Within these three years, he managed a successful turnaround and increased sales by approx. 20 %.
W. Doupnik has been the chairman of the managing board of Raiffeisen Software Solution und Service GmbH since 2006. He has been tasked with defining the company’s strategy, increasing efficiency, developing new market segments and other ways of expansion. His successful leadership is reflected in the quality improvement of major projects as well as in an increase in sales and number of employees of about one fourth since 2007.

Wilhelm Doupnik is married, with two children. In his leisure time he enjoys sporting activities such as playing golf and tennis, and he enjoys literature.
