The COMPAREX Group has taken another strategic step forward in pursuit of its international growth strategy by acquiring Indian software consulting and technology services specialist IRIS Unified Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The acquisition, closed on October 14th, follows the foundation by COMPAREX of an Indian subsidiary in Delhi earlier this year as part of its expansion in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. It is planned that IRIS will operate under the COMPAREX brand. The new company will focus on leveraging the significant potential of the Indian market for the COMPAREX Group. IRIS Managing Director Navin Kapur and his leadership team will continue to head the merged Indian organization with more than 70 employees.

As of April the 1st, 2011, Marc Betgem is officially appointed as responsible for the entire PC-WARE BeNeLux organization. Betgem will take over the roles and responsibilities of former Vice President Western Region, Harry Kloosterman. The past six years Betgem has been responsible for the Dutch PC-WARE organization as Managing Director. He succeeded in managing the Dutch office on a continuous basis to become one of the best performing PC-WARE subsidiaries. In addition to excellent financial results, the organization also realized growth in terms of customer service, a substantial service portfolio and workforce.
