COMPAREX Group to handle global software procurement and software asset management for Vattenfall AB

Leipzig, 29.04.2013 – The Swedish company Vattenfall AB has awarded the contract for procurement of its software to the COMPAREX Group. Positioning itself as a ‘value-added reseller’, the Leipzig-based IT company also outpaced the competition with its software asset management solution in a Europe-wide tender. COMPAREX will therefore also advise Vattenfall on matters of software license management; the objective will be to cut costs in compliance with licenses already in place.
