Accelerating Growth: COMPAREX Opens Singapore Office and Appoints Sebastien Sisombat as New Executive Vice President for Asia

Leipzig, 09.11.2015 – Global IT provider COMPAREX has opened a subsidiary in Singapore and has appointed Sebastien Sisombat as Executive Vice President for Asia. These steps represent a deeper attention to the Asian market in the international growth strategy of COMPAREX, following recent market entries in Canada and Turkey.

“We are excited to expand our existing service in Asia and, specifically, to bring our own SoftCare offerings to this enormous market,” says Wilfried Pruschak, COMPAREX Chief Executive Officer. “This step is one of many in our pursuit of providing greater support to our multi-national customers. This will grant them access to our global network and portfolio in this region, adding to our existing local branches in China, India and Indonesia.” In addition to its traditional license management offering, COMPAREX will introduce SoftCare to these markets, a cloud-based system that customers use to streamline the procurement, use and management of software products and services. An integral part of SoftCare, SAM2GO (Software Asset Management as a Managed Service) supports companies and users by continuously and precisely recording software inventory and its use. Not only does this minimize risk exposure, it also reduces costs.

Before joining COMPAREX, Sisombat worked at Microsoft from 2003 for twelve years in a variety of management roles in growing capacity. He joined Microsoft France as Business Operations Director and later was Marketing Director for Microsoft APAC. Sisombat then worked as Sales Excellence Director for Microsoft South-Korea before his last assignment as Small Medium & Partners Solutions Director for Microsoft Thailand.

Before Microsoft, he had worked as Marketing Communication Director for Sun Microsystems France from 1998- 2003 and for ten years as Marketing and Sales Director at Apple France.

Sebastien Sisombat graduated with a Master of Computer Science at Paris University and a MBA at ESSEC MBA School.
