Bid Agent (gn)

Bid Management of Global Services is responsible for evaluating and approving the financial, legal and technical risks of offered services. As a part of sales process, we continuously improve our processes to optimize solution times and enable sales to be more effective and agile. Conversely, we are responsible to ensure profitability and capability of Global Services to deliver expected solutions for the proposed offer. When all criteria are within an accepted range, we approve the bid request, and the offer is processed onward through the sales cycle.

Ihr neuer Aufgabenbereich

  • Perform approval of offers, bids and tenders as well as pre-sales resources for our global managed services according to the GMS bid-approval process:
    • Management of the GMS Bid Management Mailbox of COMPAREX
    • Processing of incoming requests for the release of offers, including the examination of questionnaires and offer calculations sent with these
    • Assessment of services offered in terms of risks, price, profitability, availability, legal and technical risks
    • Approval, escalation or rejection of requests for bid approval according to predefined approval zones
    • Filing of incoming requests for bid approval as well as their administration after status changes
  • Alignment with international sales team to enable clearance of incoming requests
  • Collaboration with Operation Center and Project Management on cases of clarification
  • Evaluation of Change Requests in regard of existing contracts 
  • Responsibility for specific services to develop and maintain Know How in our team
  • Contribution to improvement of internal processes by initiating and coordination of specific projects
  • Maintenance of the statistical data of GMS Bid Management
  • Maintain our GMS bid-approval process and optimize it together with the Product Management
  • Collaborate closely with international sales teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with the bid strategy and with COMPAREX group policies

Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten, die Sie mitbringen sollten

  • Thorough understanding of sales processes within a globally acting managed service provider
  • Fundamental knowledge of economics as well as affinity for information technology especially business software
  • Experience in Software Asset Management, License Management and Government of cloud solutions like Office 365 and Azure is beneficial
  • Very structured and quality-conscious way of working Demonstrating perseverance and the ability to look at the big picture even in long-term processes 
  • Excellence in problem solving and organizational skills
  • Service-oriented and supportive performance and very good communication skills
  • Fluent English and German spoken and written is required. Further languages are beneficial
  • Very good skills in standard Microsoft Office applications
