On April 1st, 2017, Jeffrey de Heer was appointed Business Unit Manager Solution Advising. COMPAREX is undergoing a major transition, both internally and externally. More and more customers recognize the added value that COMPAREX offers them, by providing independent advice about their IT landscape. To ensure quality, it is important for COMPAREX to have the right employees on the right position. The new position really fits Jeffrey like a glove.

An independent partner

"In conversations with customers, I notice that many organizations are overwhelmed with IT-issues. We live in a time where technology develops very quickly. we don not only see new opportunities every day but threats as well. It is difficult to keep track of all changes, to review them and then make the right choices. To be able to give proper advice to customers on the challenges they face, is not just about offering the latest technologies. There is clearly a need for a partner that stands next to the customer, cooperates with them, analyzes their requirements and translates this into independent advice."

"I started working at COMPAREX more than nine years ago in a sales role. I really enjoyed that position but during the course of my career, I felt a need for a more substantial role. This is why I decided to switch to the (then recently launched) Solution Advising department. New developments, trends and collaboration with different suppliers allowed me to grow into an advisory role.

My personal learning process perfectly matches the route that COMPAREX currently follows. Originally, we have a strong history in selling licenses, but now we do so much more than just licenses. The current COMPAREX strongly inspires and provides independent advice to customers. COMPAREX also offers local, professional or managed services. In short, our experts are able to guide and advise the customer during a complete IT-project. It is my challenge to continue building on that path with my team. By putting our customer in the center, with everything we do, we are able to use innovation within the IT-strategy, making our customer ready for the Digital Transformation.
